Structural design of 6,000 SF, one-story, MRI Suite consisting of concrete roof slab on metal deck, steel beam and column framing erected atop of an existing two-story outpatient clinic. Structural design incorporates the capacity for future floor addition. Services included review of existing construction plans, specifications, and reports; on-site verification of existing conditions; structural analysis of existing structural systems; review of regulatory codes; preparation of design criteria and loads; study of alternate structural systems and preparation of findings report; preparation of a structural narrative; preparation of calculations, construction plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates; preparation of testing and inspection requirements; bid and construction phase services that included shop drawing review and construction phase site visits.
