Structural design of 31,000 SF, three-story, operating suite addition consisting of steel beam and column framing, clay brick veneer exterior walls, concrete floor slabs on metal deck, concrete slabs-on-grade and a reinforced concrete foundation system. Services included review of existing construction plans, specifications, and reports; on-site verification of existing conditions; structural analysis of existing structural systems; review of regulatory codes; preparation of design criteria and loads; study of alternate structural systems and preparation of findings report; preparation of a structural narrative; preparation of calculations, construction plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates; preparation of testing and inspection requirements; bid and construction phase services that included shop drawing review and construction phase site visits.
