Structural engineering services for renovations to 8,500 square foot of eighth floor and design of floor slab repairs at locations where existing utilities penetrated the floor slab and were demolished as part of the work. Services included review of existing construction plans, specifications, and reports; on-site verification of existing conditions; structural analysis of existing structural systems; review of regulatory codes; preparation of design criteria and loads; study of alternate structural systems and preparation of findings report; preparation of a structural narrative; preparation of calculations, construction plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates; preparation of testing and inspection requirements; bid and construction phase services that include shop drawing review and construction phase site visits.
