The Main Street replacement bridge was designed to span Little Nescopeck using a precast concrete box culvert. The 22-foot roadway width, replacement bridge consisted of a precast, pre-stressed box culvert with a bituminous wearing course, guiderails, reinforced concrete abutments and wingwalls on spread footings. Replacement bridge design was in accordance with PADOT LRFD Box Culvert (BXLRFD) to support HS-25 loading conditions. |
