Structural design of freestanding entrance canopy, four-story elevator shaft, and one-story office structure; renovations to 35,000 square feet of hospital space; load-capacity analysis of existing structural systems and design of ten (10) ductwork penetrations through existing concrete floors. Services included review of existing construction plans, specifications, and reports; on-site verification of existing conditions; structural analysis of existing structural systems; review of regulatory codes; preparation of design criteria and loads; study of alternate structural systems and preparation of findings report; preparation of a structural narrative; preparation of calculations, construction plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates; and, preparation of testing and inspection requirements.
