Borough of New Albany, Bradford County, PA
Owner
Towanda Municipal Authority

The Eilenberger Springs replacement bridge was designed to span Towanda Creek and allows access to the Eilenberger Spring treatment plant.  The cast-in-place, reinforced concrete culvert had a 22-foot span, a 12-foot clear roadway width, and a clear opening height of 11-feet.  Wing walls extended a horizontal distance of fourteen feet at a forty-five degree angle from the corners of the box culvert. Replacement bridge design was in accordance with PADOT LRFD Box Culvert (BXLRFD) to support H-20 loading conditions.
